Ujjal Bhattacharya was our Senior Project Director for India at WonderWork for many years and did an incredible job. He was based in Mumbai but traveled all over India to support our partner hospitals, surgeons, and medical teams.

Ujjal was extremely passionate about our mission – especially our work to save severely burned children and adults. Unfortunately, he knew first-hand the sorrow and heartbreak burns can cause as his own sister died from severe burns after a cooking accident that caused her sari to catch on fire.

I always enjoyed working with Ujjal Bhattacharya and the major donors who we brought to India absolutely loved him.

Ujjal is very smart, professional, dedicated and fun to be around.
